Omnia Vinyl completed an extensive lift entrance wrapping project at Newfoundland, Canary Wharf, using 3M Di-Noc architectural vinyl to deliver a seamless luxury finish across 58 floors.
Precision Architectural Wrapping at Scale
At 220 metres tall, Newfoundland stands as one of Canary Wharf’s most striking residential towers. Omnia Vinyl were appointed to carry out an ambitious architectural vinyl wrapping project, transforming lift entrances across 56 residential floors into sleek, gold-toned design features.
The client specified 3M Di-Noc PA-046 architectural vinyl, a subtle metallic gold finish that complemented the building’s contemporary interiors. With 4 passenger lifts servicing every floor — and 4 entrances, 4 indicators, and 2 full-height call panels per level — the scale of this vinyl wrap project was significant.

Unrivalled Quality and Efficiency
Following a competitive demonstration on site, Omnia Vinyl were selected for our precision finish and technical expertise. To meet the demanding schedule, the vinyl was specially manufactured by 3M Japan and supplied through our long-term partner, William Smith.
With delivery scheduled for mid-January and handover set for early March, we developed an accelerated installation programme that accounted for lift installation, testing, and commissioning.
Phase 1: Architraves, indicators, and LOPs
Phase 2: Lift entrance frames (two lifts at a time)
Phase 3: Lift doors (coordinated with OTIS engineers)
Remarkable Results, Delivered Ahead of Schedule
In just 33 days, Omnia Vinyl wrapped over 1,536 metres of material, covering
672 architrave panels,
448 doors
224 floor indicators
112 full height call button panels
All completed two days ahead of the agreed 35 day programme.
This large-scale architectural vinyl wrapping project demonstrates our capability to deliver high-quality finishes, even on complex and time-critical developments.
