Architectural Vinyl Wrapping for a Premium Office Refurbishment
Omnia Vinyl were commissioned to complete a detailed architectural vinyl wrapping project at 1 Linear Park, a five-storey office building in the heart of Bristol. The client’s goal was to achieve a high-end finish throughout the refurbished lobby areas and lift cars, complementing new timber wall cladding with black accent details.
To achieve the desired aesthetic, 3M Di-Noc architectural vinyls PS-504 and FW-236 were selected for their natural woodgrain textures and seamless match to the surrounding panel finishes. This approach provided a premium look while offering the flexibility and efficiency of vinyl wrapping compared to traditional joinery.
Phased Installation
for Minimal Disruption
To ensure a smooth workflow and minimal disruption to the refurbishment programme, the project was completed in three carefully coordinated phases:
Phase 1:
MDF thresholds were wrapped around each lift entrance prior to the wall cladding installation, creating a wide surface return for the vinyl wrap to adhere to.
Phase 2:
Lift entrances — including doors, architraves, and call buttons — were wrapped during the carpet installation phase. Call buttons were completed out of hours to avoid taking lifts out of service during the day, while floor indicators were individually wrapped for easy future maintenance.
Phase 3:
The lift car interiors were wrapped in the final days of the refurbishment to prevent damage from ongoing site activity. All three lift cars were fully wrapped and returned to service within just eight hours, ensuring the client’s schedule remained on track.
