Who we are and what we do
Omnia Vinyl LTD is the brainchild of our founders Richard Whiteley and Gareth Watkinson. Richard has worked in the lift industry for over 30 years and previously owned a successful lift service and maintenance company. In 2014 we spotted a gap in the market for using architectural vinyl wrapping in the lift industry for the refurbishment of lift cars, doors and lobbies.
Refurbishing lift cars and lobbies with architectural vinyl enables a massive cost saving when compared to full rip out and replacement refurbishments. A full lift car architectural wrap can usually be completed in less than a day and save around 7x in costs when compared to a full car re line. . Due to the properties of architectural vinyl, the increase of weight is negligible (typically less than 2-3kgs for a full 8 person car). This allows you to choose finishes like marble and stone that would just not be possible to install using the actual materials. Not to mention reducing the impact to the environment by massively reducing the waste created and going to landfill.
What sets us aside?
What sets Omnia Vinyl aside in the architectural wrapping industry is that we can install vinyl to areas of lifts, doors and architraves where other architectural wrappers can’t without additional support.
We have the only qualified lift technician in the UK that is also a 3M endorsed installer. This not only means your wraps will be finished to highest standards, his knowledge and experience of the lift industry ensures the lift will be controlled correctly and more importantly safely during the wrapping process. We can also remove and refit doors for wrapping if their installation allows it. We can even wrap from inside the lift shaft if required to ensure complete coverage.
Our installers have been fully trained and assessed directly by 3M for applying their architectural Di-Noc vinyl. After in depth training, written testing and practical exams they have been accredited with the prestigious title of 3M endorsed installers. This means that your vinyl projects will be completed to the highest standards as expected by 3M. Omnia Vinyl is a 3M Silver Select partner, this allows us to offer a full 12 year 3M backed manufacturers warranty.
With this support from 3M we have expanded our architectural wrapping services to include washrooms, fire doors, desks and reception areas.
